Summer Drink Card Using Just Dies: Minimal Stamping feat. Lawn Fawn

Hello friends. Here’s another fun summer card using the Lawn Fawn Build-A-Drink Dies. This requires minimal stamping. I used all dies except for the sentiment strip and added texture to the background using a Tim Holtz stencil. I love how bright this card turned out. Definitely some summer vibes happening here!

For this card, I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″ to create a card base and another piece die cut using the Catherine Pooler Scallops & Dots Dies.

I inked the background with the Tim Holtz Rays Layering Stencil (THS003) and Catherine Pooler Designs Cummerbund and Fiesta Blue Inks.

I die cut the glass from Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″, it’s background from Stampin’ Up! So Saffron 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock (retired), using the Lawn Fawn Build-A-Drink. I die cut the lemons, limes and all greenery from Stampin’ Up! So Saffron 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock (retired), Simon Says Stamp 100lb Green Apple and 100lb Green Leaf Cardstocks using Lawn Fawn Zesty Lemon and Lawn Fawn Build-A-Drink Dies. I added dimension to the images by inking them. I used Tim Holtz Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink for the lighter leaves and limes; Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Ink for the darker leaves and stems; Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink for the lemons and the drink and Stampin’ Up! Sahara Sand Ink (retired) for the fruit basket.

I die cut one of the banners from from Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ using the Lawn Fawn Fancy Wavy Banners Dies and stamped a sentiment from Lawn Fawn Summertime Charm Stampset with Midnight Ink.

I finished off the card by adding Morning Dew Nuvo Crystal Drops.

I left inside of the card blank and just added a small lime wedge.

Summer Cocktails Card feat. Lawn Fawn Build-A-Drink Cocktail Add-on and Scripty Enjoy

Hello friends. The Lawn Fawn Build-A-Drink Dies and Lawn Fawn Build-A-Drink Cocktail Add-On Dies are a great addition to my summer card line-up. There are so many beverages you can make with these diesets. I’m starting off with a cute pink daiquiri card. I love to combine pink and green and ths card was a great opportunity to do just that! Look for more cards to come using these dies.

For this card, I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″ to create a card base and a piece of pattern paper from the Lawn Fawn Fruit Salad 6×6 Inch Petite Paper Pack to 4 x 5-1/4″ which I die cut a window from using the Lawn Fawn Secret Garden Window Dies and another piece cut to 3-3/4 x 5″.

I die cut the ice cubes from Vellum and the umbrella top from retired Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Papers.

I inked all the images with Catherine Pooler Design inks. I used It’s a Girl for the drink, It’s a Girl and Rouge for the strawberries, Lime Rickey and Grass Skirt for the leaves, Lime Rickey for the flower, and Black Jack for the straw and umbrella base.

I die cut the sentiment from Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ using the Lawn Fawn Scripty Enjoy Die. I cut it 3x and stacked them. But before adhering them I used Black Jack Ink to color the top sentiment.

I finished off the card by adding shimmer to the drink portion with a Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pen.

On the inside of the card, I add pattern paper cut to 1 x 4-1/4″ and 1-3/16 x 4-1/4″ and stamped a sentiment from Lawn Fawn How You Bean Strawberries Add-on with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

These cards fold flat to fit into a regular A2 envelope. My balloons go outside the box top so I made a custom envelope to fit it better.

Watercolor Baby Shower Card feat. Lawn Fawn

Hello friends. I could not help but make some more baby cards with the Lawn Fawn Giant Outlined Hello Baby Die. It’s such a fun die to play with. I combined this one with images from an older stampset I have, the Lawn Fawn Hello Baby Stampset (which ironically has the same name as the die but is now discontinued).

For this card, I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″ to create a card base. And another piece from the Doodlebug 6 x 6 Kraft in color – color paper to 4-1/4 x 5-1/2. I die cut a scalloped panel from Stampin’ Up! Balmy Blue 12 x 12 Glimmer Cardstock (retired) using the Catherine Pooler Tags, Etc Die set.

I die cut the sentiment panel from Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ and Echo Park – Bundle of Joy (Dots & Stripes) 6 x 6 Paper Pack (discontinued) using Lawn Fawn Giant Outlined Hello Baby Die.

For the background, I cut a piece of Watercolor Paper to 3-3/4 x 5″. Then used Tim Holtz Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, and Wild Honey Distress Inks.

I stamped images from the Lawn Fawn Hello Baby Stampset (discontinued) onto some Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Memento TUXEDO BLACK Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I used YG25, YG17 & YG01 and Y02, Y13, & Y15 for the frog; C1, C3 & C5, R20 for the bunny; BG000 & 0 for the cloud; Y02, Y13, & Y15, R20, YR09 & YR16 for the ducks; YG25 & YG17 for the rattles; and B14, B16 & B12 for the umbrella.

I stamped the rest of the sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Hello Baby Stampset (discontinued) onto some Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Memento TUXEDO BLACK Ink and trimmed it down to 1/2 x 3″ and cut banner tales on one side.

On the inside of the card I added two strips of pattern paper measuring 1 x 4-1/4″ and 3/4 x 4-1/4″ and a duck.

Birthdays, Masculine, Shaker

Flat Shaker Masculine Birthday Card feat. Lawn Fawn

Hello friends. Here’s a fun flat shaker card that could be for anyone but in keeping with my masculine card series, I think this one would work well for that theme. This is my first flat shaker but it turns out they are actually easier to make than a regular shaker. It’s win win in my book!

For this card, I cut a piece of Lawn Fawn 100lb Black Licorice Cardstock to 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″ to create a card base and a piece of Catherine Pooler Designs Arnold’s Drive-In Patterned Paper which I die cut with Lawn Fawn LARGE STITCHED RECTANGLE STACKABLES and inked with Catherine Pooler Oh Boy! Ink to tone it down a bit.

I took a clear bag in A2 size (I used the same ones I use for my finished cards) and slid the panel inside it. I taped the excess plastic on the sides to create a tight fit around the card panel. Next I added a bunch of different sequins and sprinkle shaker bits and sealed the top with more double sided tape.

I die cut the large sentiment from Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ as well as Lawn Fawn 100lb Black Licorice Cardstock using the Lawn Fawn Giant Happy Birthday Die. I stamped the rest of the sentiment from the Queen and Company Sentiment Stackers #1 Stampset onto Lawn Fawn 100lb Black Licorice Cardstock with Versamark Ink and White Embossing Powder.

I stamped the balloons from Lawn Fawn Set Elephant Parade Add-On Stampset with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″. I colored them with Copic Markers. I used Y02, Y13 & Y17, BV00, BV13 & BV17, and YG01, YG25, and YG17.

On the inside of the card, I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 3-3/4 x 5″ using the Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I also added a strip of the pattern paper measuring 1 x 3-3/4″ and another balloon.

Pop Up Baby Shower Cards feat. Lawn Fawn Elephant Parade

Hello friends. I couldn’t resist making a baby pop up card with the Lawn Fawn Elephant Parade stamps after seeing the one Mona from the Lawn Fawn design team made (Baby themed pop-up box card with Mona). It was so damn cute!

Granted these pop up cards take a very long time to make so I made two! LOL. Actually I originally made this card for my mom to take to a baby shower but wanted to share it with you all and I just had to make a “masculine” and “feminine” card. Obviously you can make this in the color scheme the parents choose or go with a gender neutral color if you don’t know their colors.

For this card, I die cut the bases from I die cut the sentiment panel from Stampin’ Up! Basic Gray 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock and Lawn Fawn Kraft 8-1/2 x 11″ Cardstock using the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Box Card Pop Up Dies. For the outside pattern panels I used Pebbles 12 x 12 Special Delivery (discontinued) and Echo Park IT’S A GIRL 6 x 6 Mega Paper Pad. I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 2-3/4 x 3-3/4″ for the larger outside panel which creates a space for your message.

For the grassy areas I used Simon Says Stamp 100# GREEN APPLE 8-1/2 x 11″ Cardstock and the Lawn Fawn Simple Grassy Hillsides Dies. The flowers were die cut using Lawn Fawn Straight Flower Border from Lawn Fawn Single-Sided Petite Paper 6″X6″ Perfectly Plaid Remix (discontinued?) and Simon Says Stamp 100# GREEN APPLE 8-1/2 x 11″ Cardstock. The banner on the front panel was die cut from Pebbles 12 x 12 Special Delivery (discontinued) and Echo Park IT’S A GIRL 6 x 6 Mega Paper Pad using the Lawn Fawn Fancy Wavy Banners Dies.

I stamped all the images for both cards from the Lawn Fawn Elephant Parade, Lawn Fawn Elephant Parade Add-on and Lawn Fawn Hello Baby (discontinued) Stampsets onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Memento TUXEDO BLACK Ink and colored with Copic Markers.

I used C00 & C3, R20 & R30 for the elephants; C00 & C3, R20 for the mice; and BG000, Y000, & R000 (blue card) and BG10, Y000 & R000 (pink card) for the bubbles; Y00 & E55 for the peanuts; BG000 & 0, B32 & B37, Y02 & Y15, BG11 & BG34 (blue card) and BG10 & 0, G12 & G82, Y000 & Y02, R00 & R20 (pink card) for the bottles; BG11 & BG10 (blue card) and R000 & R00 (pink card) for the banners; Y00, Y02 & Y15 for the crown; G12 & G82 for the bow; Y000, Y00, & Y02 for the balloons; and Y000, Y02 & Y15, B32 & B37 (blue card) and R00 & R20, Y000 & Y02, G12 & G82 (pink card) for the rattles.

All images were die cut using the coordinating dies.

These cards fold flat to fit into a regular A2 envelope. My balloons go outside the box top so I made a custom envelope to fit it better.

Mother's Day, Stenciled Background

Rainbow Mother’s Day Cards feat. Lawn Fawn

Hello friends. Mother’s Day is coming soon and if you need to make a quick card here’s one for you. For this very bright and happy card I used stencils to create a quick background with lots of punch.

For this card, I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 10 x 7″ and scored at 5″ to create a card base, and another piece to 4-3/4 x 6-3/4.

I die cut the sentiment from the top panel using the Lawn Fawn Giant Happy Mother’s Day as well as twice from Simon Says Stamp 100lb Black Cardstock. Then stamped the butterflies from the Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Day stampset (This came in the SSS April 2018 Card Kit which is now discontinued) with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

I finished off the card by adding some Fresh Snowfall Nuvo Glitter Drops.
