Hello friends. Need a birthday card that looks like it took a long time but doesn’t?!? Shhh. I won’t tell if you don’t. Using this giant sentiment die from Lawn Fawn is a really easy way to just that! They have both a portrait and a landscape die. I had to get both! Here’s how this card came together. Stay tuned for more cards using these dies.

For this card, I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″ to create a card base and a piece of My Favorite Things Tranquil Textures 6 x 6 Cardstock (I think this paper is discontinued) to 4 x 5-1/4″.
I die cut the sentiment panel from Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ and from Simon Says Stamp 6 x 6 Glitter Cardstock using the Lawn Fawn Landscape Giant Outlined Happy Birthday Die. I popped all the pieces except the outline and the letter centers (A, B, D etc). I inlayed the purple letters die cut from the glitter paper. This die is a little fussy to work with but the results are awesome!!!

On the inside of the card, I cut a piece of the same pattern paper to 1 x 5-1/2″ and stamped a sentiment from Catherine Pooler Designs Young at Heart stampset (not avialble-part of the Stamp of Approval Collections she used to produce) with Catherine Pooler Eucalyptus Ink.
