Easy Halloween Wreath Card Featuring Pretty Pink Posh

Hi friends. I’m back after some unplanned time off!It’s great to be creating again. I’m cutting it close but let’s start with a cute Halloween card. This stampset from Pretty Pink Posh, Halloween Wreath is so cute! I love all the fun images. They are easy to color with markers, pencils etc or leave them uncolored. You can also make a wreath from the singular images instead of using the wreath image.

I started by cutting a piece of Simon Says Stamp 100lb Black 8-1/2 x 11″ Cardstock to 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″ to make the card base and a second piece cut to 4 x 5-1/4″ which I embossed with an embossing folders from the Queen & Co’s Embossing Folder Bundle. I added a strip of pattern paper from the Honey Bee Stamps Halloween Harvest 6×6 Paper Pad measuring 3/4 x 5-1/4″ and another measuring 1-1/4 x 5-1/4″.

I stamped the wreath and all the images as well as a sentiment in the center from the Pretty Pink Posh Halloween Wreath Stampset with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with WOW Embossing Powder in Super Fine Opaque Bright White. I colored them with Prismacolor Pencils and diecut the images with the coordinating dies. Tip: Make sure to use a good amount of anti-static powder when using embossing powder on dark cardstock or it will stick where you don’t want. I used 3M Foam Tape to pop up the wreath.

I finished it off by adding some sequins from the Honey Bee Stamps Halloween Harvest Sequin Mix.

On the inside of the card, I cut a piece of Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 4 x 5-1/4″ and the same purple paper I used on the front of the card from Honey Bee Stamps Halloween Harvest 6×6 Paper Pad to 1 x 5-1/4″ and stamped a sentiment from the Pretty Pink Posh Halloween Wreath Stampset with Catherine Pooler Designs Mandarin Spice Ink. I also added some extra images I had stamped.

Stretching Your Dies: One Die Four Cards featuring Scrappy Tails

Hi friends. When I saw Jennifer McGuire’s video featuring the Slimline Bird House Pop Up Card Dies and add-on dies from Scrappy Tails, I knew I had to have them. They remind me of the Honey Bee Stamps House Card Dies and Add-ons which as you may have figured out I love so much! These dies are just as versatile and allow you to make tons of different types of cards for all occasions.

For the first card, I started by diecutting the Slimline Bird House and the side pieces which create the pop up feature from Stampin’ Up! Soft Sky 8-1/2 x 11″ Cardstock (retired) with the Scrappy Tails Slimline Bird House Pop Up Card Dies. Then diecut the roof, base, and 2 scalloped circles from Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″. I diecut the woodgrain from Stampin’ Up! Chocolate Chip 8-1/2 x 11″ Cardstock (retired) with the Scrappy Tails Slimline Woodgrain Background Die and adhered the negative pieces onto the card front.

I cut out the two windows using the circle from the birdhouse die set. I adhered the scallop bosrders on the window as well as the roof. Then diecut some grass using the Lawn Fawn Grassy Border from Stampin’ Up! Granny Apple Green 8-1/2 x 11″ Cardstock, trimmed it down to size and adhered it to the bottom of the card. I added the white base on top of the grass.

I stamped some leaves and flowers from the Catherine Pooler Designs Bloomin Bouquet and Lovely Flowers Stampsets (both were from Stamp of Approval collections no longer available) onto Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Catherine Pooler Designs Lime Rickey, Catching Rays, Flirty Fuchsia and Coral Cabana Inks. For the sentiment I used the direct-to-paper technique with Flirty Fuchsia and Coral Cabana Inks onto Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ and diecut “HOME” 2x and “tweet” from the Scrappy Tails Slimline Bird House Pop Up Card Dies. Lastly I adhered the two side panels and the card back.

I left the inside of the card blank.

For the second card, I started by cutting a piece of Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 4 x 5 3/4″ then diecut it with the Slimline Bird House from the Scrappy Tails Slimline Bird House Pop Up Card Dies, making sure to leave on edge of the die off the edge of the card base. I also diecut a second house front which will be adhered on the front of the card.

I diecut the roof 2x, chimney, and window frames from Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with the Scrappy Tails Slimline Bird House Pop Up Card Dies and Scrappy Tails Slimline Neighborhood House Pop Up – Add On Die. I backed all the windows with a piece of bright yellow cardstock from my stash. I diecut the Scrappy Tails Slimline Brick Background Die from Stampin’ up! Basic Gray 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock and adhered the bricks only to the house and chimney. Then adhered the chimney to the back of the house. I also adhered one roof to the front of the card and the other to the inside after adhering the panel to the card base.I diecut several of the snow drift border with the from Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″.

I added the windows to the card and diecut some window boxes from Stampin’ Up! Pacific Point 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock with the Scrappy Tails Slimline Neighborhood House Pop Up – Add On Die. Then added leaves and flowers diecut with the same dieset from Stampin’ Up! Granny Apple Green 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock, Stampin’ Up! Real Red 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock, yellow, purple, orange and aqua cardstock from my stash.

I left the inside of the card blank.

For the third card, I started by cutting a piece of Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Grape 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock to 4 x 9″ then diecut it with the Slimline Bird House from the Scrappy Tails Slimline Bird House Pop Up Card Dies, making sure to leave on edge of the die off the edge of the card base. I also diecut a second house front which will be adhered on the front of the card and a chimney.

I stamped a web using Tim Holtz Cling Mount Stamps: Trick or Treat, Tsukineko Versamark Emboss Ink Pad Watermark and Wow Embossing Powder Opaque Bright White onto the house then diecut the brick background using the Scrappy Tails Slimline Brick Background Die from Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Grape 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock.

I adhered some bricks to the chimney and house and inked them with Black Soot Distress Ink before adhering to the card, diecut the roof, window frames (I backed the windows with Simon Says Stamp 100lb Black Cardstock– I added the ghost inside the window before adhering the window back) and one door from Simon Says Stamp 100lb FOG Gray Card Stock with the Scrappy Tails Slimline Neighborhood House Pop Up – Add On Die which I cut out the door part and another from Stampin’ Up! Old Olive 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock. I also diecut the spooky fence with the Lawn Fawn Spooky Fence Border from Simon Says Stamp 100lb FOG Gray Card Stock. I inked them with Black Soot Distress Ink before adhering to the card.

I diecut a tree from Simon Says Stamp 100lb Black Cardstock with the Papertrey Ink – Tiny Town: Spooky Yard Die. I stamped the ghosts and bats from Lawn Fawn HAPPY HAUNTING Clear Stamps and the web and spider from Catherine Pooler Designs Everything but the Broom Stamp Set onto Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Memento Black Tuxedo Ink. I colored the ghosts with COPIC Markers C1 and 0 and R20 for the cheeks and diecut them with coordinating dies.

On the inside of the card, I diecut one house from Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with the Scrappy Tails Slimline Bird House Pop Up Card Dies and cut down about 1/4 inch smaller. Then stamped a sentiment from Catherine Pooler Designs Everything but the Broom Stamp Set with Memento Black Tuxedo Ink.

For the fourth card, I started by cutting a piece of Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 4 x 5 3/4″ then diecut it with the Slimline Bird House from the Scrappy Tails Slimline Bird House Pop Up Card Dies, making sure to leave on edge of the die off the edge of the card base. I also diecut a brick background from the Scrappy Tails Slimline Brick Background Die from Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ and one from Lawn Fawn Paper Bag 8.5 x 11” Cardstock. I adhered the white brick outline to the card base then inlaid the paper bag bricks.

I diecut the roof and base with Scrappy Tails Slimline Bird House Pop Up Card Dies and the chimney and window frames with Scrappy Tails Slimline Neighborhood House Pop Up – Add On Die from Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″. I diecut the snow drift border from Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Honey Bee Stamps Gingerbread House Add-On Dies. I backed the windows with Stampin’ Up!’s Chocolate Chip 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock (retired); I adhered the gingerbread people before backing it.

I diecut the door from Stampin’ Up!’s Real Red 8-1/2 x 11”Cardstock with the Scrappy Tails Slimline Neighborhood House Pop Up – Add On Die.

I stamped the trees and candy canes from the Honey Bee Stamps Gingerbread House Add-On 6×6 Stamp Set and the gum drops, gingerbread people and peppermints from Lawn Fawn SWEET CHRISTMAS Clear Stamps onto Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Memento Black Tuxedo Ink.

I colored the images with COPIC Markers. I c olored the peppermints and candy canes with R27, R46 and C1, YG17 and YG25 for the trees, E34, E37, R20, C1 and 0 for the gingerbread people, and R81 and R85 for the gumdrops.

On the inside of the card, I stamped a sentiment and candy canes from Lawn Fawn SWEET CHRISTMAS Clear Stamps with Memento Black Tuxedo Ink.

Honey Bee Stamps House Builder with Treat Shop Add-on

Another great add-on dieset from Honey Bee Stamps! The Treat Shop Add-On Dies and Stamps coordinate with the House Builder Card Base Dies and allow you to make lots of sweet cards. You can create a bakery, ice cream shop or candy shop. The possibilities are endless with this set.

For this card, I started by diecutting the house card base 2x with the House Builder Card Base Dies from Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″. I adhered the two houses with the pre-scored strip that comes in the House Builder Card Base Dies to create the card base. Be sure to use double-sided tape or something very strong so they don’t come apart.

Then die cut the roof and window awnings from both Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ and Stampin’ Up! Melon Mambo 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock from the Honey Bee Stamps Treat Shop Add-On Dies. I cut out every other strip on the awnings and adhered them to the white one to create a cute striped awning. I diecut out the windows from the front of the card.

I diecut the door from some Stampin’ Up! Chocolate Chip 8.5 x 11″ Cardstock (discontinued) and Stampin’ Up! Pool Party 8.5 x 11″ Cardstock and the steps from Simon Says Stamp Card Stock 100# FOG Gray Cardstock with the Honey Bee Stamps Farmhouse Add-On Dies.

I stamped images from the Honey Bee Stamps Treat Shop Add-On Stamp Set onto Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I used Y17, BG01, R09, and E29 for the banners; BG000 and 0 for the glass display case and cake display; C3 and C5 for the cake base, RV06, RV09, and RV21 for the three tier cake, and E25, E29 and E49 for the heart on the cake. RV06 and RV09, E24 and E29, Y13 and Y17, and C1 and C3 for the cupcakes; YG05 and YG17 for the bush and E24, E29 and E49 for the planter. C1 and C3 for the bakery and specials signs and the table; Y13 and Y17, BG000 and BG01, RV06 and RV21 for the balloons; and BG000 and BG01, RV06, RV09 and RV21 for the umbrella.

I used direct-to-paper technique with Stampin’ Up! Magenta Madness, Mango Melody and Pool Party Inks onto some Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ and diecut the flowers from the from the Honey Bee Stamps Treat Shop Add-On Dies and adhered them to the building.

I finished off the card by adding some Tonic Liquid Mercury Nuvo Crystal Drops for the door knob and Tonic IVORY SEASHELL Nuvo Crystal Drops to the flower centers.

On the inside of the card, I stamped a sentiment from Lawn Fawn’s Village Shops Stampset with Stampin’ Up!’s Magenta Madness and some tiny cupcakes from the Honey Bee Stamps Treat Shop Add-On 6×6 Stamp Set with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

Farmhouse Card For Any Occasion featuring Honey Bee Stamps

Another great add-on dieset from Honey Bee Stamps! The Farmhouse Add-on Dies and Stampset coordinate with the House Builder Card Base Dies and allow you to make lots of cute cards. The last card I made was very patriotic but for this one I decided to make a more traditional farmhouse which can be used for any occasion.

For this card, I started by diecutting the house card base 2x with the House Builder Card Base Dies from Stampin’ Up! Cherry Cobbler 8.5 X 11″ Cardstock. I adhered the two houses with the pre-scored strip that comes in the House Builder Card Base Dies to create the card base. Be sure to use double-sided tape or something very strong so they don’t come apart.

Then die cut the roof and porch steps, and chimney from Simon Says Stamp Card Stock 100# FOG Gray Cardstock and stenciled bricks on the front of the house with Tim Holtz BRICKED Layering Stencil and Stampin’ Up! Smoky Slate Ink, the Lawn Fawn Yeti Ink.

I adhered the roof and chimney to the card base and diecut the porch header 2x from Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ and added some Simon Says Stamp Card Stock 100# FOG Gray Cardstock behind the headers. I also diecut the window frames, porch rails, porch beams/columns, porch rail beams, deck/porch foundation also from Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″. I diecut the window backs from Stampin’ Up! Pool Party 8.5 x 11″ Cardstock, the curtains from House Builder Card Base Dies with Doodlebug Designs Yankee Doodle 6×6 Paper Pad (I believe it’s discontinued) and the door from some brown cardstock from my stash. I stamped a wood pattern on the door using Stampin’ Up! Early Espresso Ink and Stampin’ Up!’s Hardwood Clear Mount Background Stamp (retired) and used Tim Holtz Idea-ology 8 x 8 Paper Stash Metallic Kraft Stock for the doorknob. Before adhering all the diecuts to the card, I used the Scrappy Tails Slimline Brick Background Metal Craft Die and Stampin’ Up! Cherry Cobbler 8.5 X 11″ Cardstock and adhered them to the card.

I diecut the flowers and leaves from the House Builder Card Base with green, pink, yellow and navy blue cardstock from my stash.

I stamped the decorative star, two rooster weathervanes, two lanterns, two hanging pots, the table, chair, one plant and a mailbox onto some Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Memento Tuxedo Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I used B23, B24 and B26 for the star and hanging pots, B21 and B23 for the chair, YG11 and YG17 for the plants, Y02 and Y13 for the flower pot, mailbox and lantern light, C1 and C3 for the lanterns and W3 and W5 for the table.

I left the inside of the card blank.

Fun Fold Sweet Ice Cream Thank You Card and Using Your Older 6 x 6 Paper Pads

Hi everyone! I was playing with the Stampin’ Up!’s Sweet Ice Cream Stampset and tried to think of a card I can make using minimal supplies and taking advantage of all the paper in my stash! Here’s what I came up with.

I used Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ cut to 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″ to make the card base and cut off 1-1/2″ from the front right side of the card base. I also cut a piece of Stampin’ Up! 6 x 6 Subtles (retired) polka dot paper in So Saffron to 3 x 5-1/2″ and a piece of Lawn Fawn Really Rainbow 6 x 6 Petite Paper Pack to 1/2 x 5-1/2″ which I adhered to the front of the card and a piece of pink polka dot paper from the Doodlebug Designs 12 x 12 Milk and Cookies Petite Print Assortment (not sure if it’s available anymore) for the inside, which I cut to 1-3/8 x 5-1/2″.

I stamped the ice cream cone from Stampin’ Up!’s Sweet Ice Cream Stampset onto Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Stampin’ Up! Sahara Sand Ink (cone) and Stampin’ Up! Crumb Cake Ink (waffle pattern), and four ice cream scoops with Catherine Pooler Designs Be Mine, Lime Rickey, It’s a Boy and Serenade Inks. I also stamped the highlight that comes in the stampset with Lawn Fawn Yeti Ink on the pink and blue scoops and sprinkles on the green and purple scoops with Catherine Pooler Designs Over Coffee Ink and adhered the ice cream pieces to the card.

I stamped and fussycut the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up!’s Sweet Ice Cream Stampset onto Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I finished it off by adding some Nuvo Crystal Drops in Dark Walnut.

On the inside, I stamped a sentiment from Stampin’ Up!’s Sweet Ice Cream Stampset with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and the ice cream cone with Stampin’ Up! Sahara Sand Ink and the scoop with Catherine Pooler Designs Be Mine Ink.

Fourth of July/Patriotic House Card featuring Honey Bee Stamps

When I purchased this Honey Bee Stamps Farmhouse Add-on Dies and Stampset I knew I had to make a patriotic themed card. And love how it turned out! There really are endless possibilities with the House Builder Card Base Dies and add-on dies and stampsets available.

For this card, I started by diecutting the house card base 2x from the House Builder Card Base Dies, chimney, roof, 2 windows, porch steps and four bushes from Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″.

I adhered the two houses with the pre-scored strip that comes in the House Builder Card Base Dies to create the card base. Be sure to use double-sided tape or something very strong so they don’t come apart. Then stenciled bricks on the front of the house with Tim Holtz BRICKED Layering Stencil and Stampin’ Up! Smoky Slate Ink, also colored the porch steps with Stampin’ Up! Smoky Slate Ink, roof and chimney with Tim Holtz BLUEPRINT SKETCH and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks, the door with Barn Door, bushes with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn and windows with Broken China Distress Inks.

I adhered the roof and chimney to the card base and added a brick pattern to the chimney with a White Gel Pen.

I diecut the window frames, porch header (I added a piece of vellum behind it which I colored with Stampin’ Up! Smoky Slate Ink), window frames, porch rails and beams/columns from Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with the Farmhouse Add-on Dies. I also diecut curtains from Doodlebug Designs Yankee Doodle 6×6 Paper Pad (I believe it’s discontinued) with the House Builder Card Base.

I stamped the decorative star, bunting, bench and one flower pot onto some Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Memento Tuxedo Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I also stamped a wreath with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink. I used E23 and E27 for the bench and flower pot, YG17 and YG67 for the plant, R27, R46 and R59 for the star and R27, R46 & R59, B26 & B29, and C1 & 0 for the bunting. Then die cut the images with the Farmhouse Add-on Dieset. As a finishing touch I added a doorknob with Tonic LIQUID MERCURY Nuvo Crystal Drops. A die for the doorknob is included in the dieset but it’s so tiny I’m always afraid to misplace it.

On the inside of the card, I stamped a sentiment “Happy Fourth of July” using a really old greeting stampset (maybe Lawn Fawn or SSS- it was before I started labelling my stamps) and added bunting underneath.

Another Easy Masculine Birthday Card featuring Stampin’ Up!’s Whiskey Business

Hi friends! As promised, here I another quick and simple masculine card idea using Stampin’ Up!’s Whiskey Business Stamp Set. These can be easily mass produced and allows you to use up some of your pattern papers.

For this card, I used Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ cut to 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″ to make the card base. I cut a piece of striped Pear Pizazz pattern paper from the Stampin’ Up! Coffee Break 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper (retired), measuring 1-1/4 x 5-1/2″ and two pieces of the woodgrain pattern paper from the same paper pack measuring 1-1/2 x 5-1/2″ and 3/4 x 2-1/2″.

I stamped the decanter and three glasses from the Stampin’ Up!’s Whiskey Business Stamp Set onto Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Memento Espresso Truffle Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I used BG000 + 0 for the glass and E34 + E37 + E29 for the whiskey.

Before adhering the images to the card, I stamped a sentiment from the Stampin’ Up!’s Whiskey Business Stamp Set onto the card with Memento Espresso Truffle Ink. I added some Love From Lizi Gold Mirror Moondust Pinstripe Peel-offs to the pattern paper pieces then added the images, popping up two of the glasses with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I finished it off by adding Pale Gold Nuvo Drops.

On the inside, I stamped a sentiment from Stampin’ Up!’s Biggest Wish Stamp Set with Pear Pizazz Ink and Memento Espresso Truffle Ink plus a glass from Stampin’ Up!’s Whiskey Business Stamp Set with Memento Espresso Truffle Ink.

Hi everyone. This card kit just makes me happy. It’s all about rainbows and what’s not to like about that?!? The Simon Says Stamp Rainbow Is My Favorite Color 6×8 inch clear stamp set has a ton of rainbow images and cute sentiments to go along with them. Lots of options with this one. You can also use the straight stripe in non rainbow cards or make no traditional rainbows. I was definitely inspired my several of the design team cards I’ve been seeing posted on instagram @ #sssck.

The Kit includes:

For the first card, I started by cutting a piece of Neenah 110lb Solar White 8.5 x 11″ Cardstock to 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″ to make a card base. Then cut a piece of the aqua tiny cloud pattern paper from the Doodlebug Custom Rainbow 2021 6×6 inch paper to 4 x 5-1/4″ and a strip of the rainbow striped paper (also from the same paper pack) to 5/8 x 5-1/4″ and adhered them all to the card base. I added White Love from Lizi Pin Stripe Peel-Off Stickers on each side of the striped strip.

I diecut 1 rainbow from Neenah 110lb Solar White 8.5 Neenah 110lb Solar White 8.5 x 11″ Cardstock with the Simon Says Stamp Hello Rainbow die and used the Simon Says Stamp 1 inch cube ink pads in Jellybean, Sunshine, Hot Lips, and Audrey Blue and Mini Sponge Daubers to create a rainbow. I stamped and fussycut two clouds from the Simon Says Stamp Rainbow Is My Favorite Color 6×8 inch clear stamp set onto a piece of Neenah 110lb Solar White 8.5 x 11″ Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I used Copic Marker BG000 + 0 (Blender) to color the clouds. I adhered them to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped a sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Rainbow Is My Favorite Color 6×8 inch clear stamp set onto a piece of Neenah 110lb Solar White 8.5 x 11″ Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, which I cut down to 1-1/16 x 2″.

To finish it off, I added a tiny pink heart from the Doodlebug Chasing Rainbows Shape Sprinkles and lots of the Memory Box Fairy Jewels.

On the inside of the card, I added a strip of the same paper Doodlebug Custom Rainbow 2021 6×6 inch paper I used on the front cut to 3/4 x 5-1/2″.

Dimensions

For the second card, I started by cutting a piece of Neenah 110lb Solar White 8.5 x 11″ Cardstock to 7 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 3-1/2″ to make a card base. Then cut another piece to 3-1/4 x 8-1/4″.

I used the Simon Says Stamp Build A Rainbow 6×9 inch stencil with the Simon Says Stamp 1 inch cube ink pads in Jellybean, Sunshine, Hot Lips, and Audrey Blue and Broken China Distress Ink to create my scene. I stenciled the clouds first with Broken China Distress Ink, the rainbows next with the 4 colors included in the kit and lastly the sun. I traced the outer rainbow onto piece of post-it note paper to use as a mask before adding the sun. I adhered the panel to the card base and stamped a sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Rainbow Is My Favorite Color 6×8 inch clear stamp set onto a piece of Neenah 110lb Solar White 8.5 x 11″ Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, which I fussy cut and added to the card.

I added some yellow jewels from the Memory Box Fairy Jewels to the sun and some clear ones to the card.

On the inside of the card I stenciled some clouds at the bottom edge of the card with the Simon Says Stamp Build A Rainbow 6×9 inch stencil and Broken China Distress Ink.

Dimensions

For the third card, I started by cutting a piece of Neenah 110lb Solar White 8.5 x 11″ Cardstock to 7 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 3-1/2″ to make a card base. Then cut another piece to 3-1/4 x 8-1/4″.

I kept this card pretty simple and the rainbows didn’t take as long to stamp as I thought they might. Using my MISTI made the process faster. I stamped three rainbows from the Simon Says Stamp Rainbow Is My Favorite Color 6×8 inch clear stamp set onto Neenah 110lb Solar White 8.5 x 11″ Cardstock using the Simon Says Stamp 1 inch cube ink pads in Jellybean, Sunshine, Hot Lips, and Audrey Blue inks and fussy cut them. I stamped the clouds from the same stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto more Neenah card stock and fussycut those out as well.

I cut a piece of the pattern paper from the Doodlebug Custom Rainbow 2021 6×6 inch paper to 1-1/2 x 3-1/2” and stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto it.

I adhered the pattern paper to the card and used 3M Foam Tape to adhere the rainbows and clouds to the card. I stamped the three hearts from the stamp set with Hot Lips Ink and added Glossy Accents over them.

On the inside of the card I cut a piece of the same pattern paper as the front of the card to 1-1/4 x 3-1/2″.

Dimensions

For the fourth card, I started by cutting a piece of Neenah 110lb Solar White 8.5 x 11″ Cardstock to 7 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 3-1/2″ to create a card base. And a second piece of Neenah Cardstock which I diecut using the large die from the Lawn Fawn Large Slimline with Sliders Die. I Inked it with Audrey Blue Ink to create an ombre effect.

I diecut four rainbows from the 8.5 x 11 inch sheet of Simon Says Stamp Holographic Rainbow cardstock with the Simon Says Stamp Hello Rainbow die. And stamped several clouds from the Simon Says Stamp Rainbow Is My Favorite Color 6×8 inch clear stamp set onto Neenah 110lb Solar White 8.5 x 11″ Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, colored them with C1 and 0 Copic Markers and fussycut them out.

I adhered the clouds and rainbows to the card. Then stamped the sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Rainbow Is My Favorite Color 6×8 inch clear stamp set onto the card with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.I finsihed it off by adding puffy clouds and hearts from the Doodlebug Chasing Rainbows Shape Sprinkles. I also added some clear Memory Box Fairy Jewels.

On the inside of the card I adhered another rainbow diecut from the 8.5 x 11 inch sheet of Simon Says Stamp Holographic Rainbow cardstock.

Dimensions

For the fifth card, I started by cutting a piece of Neenah 110lb Solar White 8.5 x 11″ Cardstock to 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″ to make a card base and another piece to 4 x 5-1/4″. I stenciled the sune and clouds using the Simon Says Stamp Build A Rainbow 6×9 inch stencil and Sunshine and Audrey Blue Inks.

I also stenciled the cloud border on another piece of Neenah 110lb Solar White 8.5 x 11″ Cardstock which I cut to 1-3/4 x 4″, then fussycut the top edge of the clouds. I stamped a sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Rainbow Is My Favorite Color 6×8 inch clear stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto the cloud border.

Next, I used Deco Foil – Transfer Gel, a palette knife and the Simon Says Stamp Build A Rainbow 6×9 inch stencil to add a rainbow onto the card. Once it dried, I added Therm O Web RAINBOW SHATTERED Deco Foil Transfer Sheets and ran it through my lamination machine.

I adhered the cloud border to the bottom of the card panel with 3M Foam Tape. I finished it off by adding some Memory Box Fairy Jewels.

I left the inside of the card blank .

A Sweet Summer Slimline Birthday Card featuring Stampin’ Up!’s Sweet Ice Cream

Hi friends! Love the look of watercolor but not so great at it like me?!? This Sweet Ice Cream Stampset from Stampin’ Up! is a great option. You can make quick cards with little effort but they look like you spent lots of time watercoloring the images. 🙂 And they look so cute when complete!

I started by cutting a piece of Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 7 x 8-1/2″ and scored a at 3-1/2″ to create the card base and another piece to 3-1/4 x 8-1/4″. I used Stampin’ Up! Pool Party Ink and the sprinkle dots from the Sweet Ice Cream Stampset to create the background.

I stamped 3 popsicles and 2 ice cream cones onto Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Sahara Sand and Soft Suede (cone, popsicle sticks and one ice cream scoop and sprinkles) Inks, Mango Melody, Gorgeous Grape and Melon Mambo (popsicles). I used second generation stamping to get the different shades on the popsicles as well as for the pink ice cream scoop.

I stamped a sentiment from the Sweet Ice Cream Stampset onto a piece of Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Gorgeous Grape and fussycut it. I also stamped the rest of my sentiment directly on the card with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. After adhereing all the images and esntiment to teh card I finished it off ny adding some Doodlebug Sprinkles Self Adhesive Enamel Dots in Bumblebee, Lilac, Swimming Pool, and Cupcake.

On the inside, I stamped the sprinkle dots from the Sweet Ice Cream Stampset with Stampin’ Up! Pool Party Ink.

Two Cards Using One Background Die and Trying to Be Less Wasteful

Hi friends. When I purchased the Sunburst Strips Cover Plate Die from Catherine Pooler Designs I knew that I had to try rainbow colors but also glitter paper because your sun rays need to sparkle! Rainbow sunshine rays to come for sure! Stay tuned. I decided to alternate the colors of the rays but also cut off the top of the rays with a circle and add another circle for the sun. I ended up with extra pieces of rays which I then used on a second card. No waste here!

For the first card, I started by cutting a piece of Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 6-1/4 x 10″ and scored at 5″ to create a card base and to make it easier to adhere the sun, I also cut a top panel to 4-3/4 x 6″.

I diecut the Sunburst Strips Cover Plate Die from Gold and White Glitter Cardstock. I didn’t have any light yellow glitter paper so I used the white and colored with some old alcohol markers. WARNING: Coloring glitter cardstock with markers will ruin the tip of the marker so if you use a good alcohol marker like a copic make sure you have extra nibs. I taped the back of each diecut piece of cardstock and then used a 3″ circle die to cut off the narrow end. You can use whatever size you want here. Then cut a 2-1/2″ circle from the White Glitter Cardstock. I adhered all the sun pieces to the 4-3/4 x 6″ panel I previously cut and that to the card base.

I diecut two umbrella bases using the Catherine Pooler Designs Under the Umbrella Dies from Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″. I used the direct-to-paper technique with CP Flirty Fuschia Ink on the handle only and cut it out. Then diecut the patterned sections from Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″, and again used direct-to-paper technique with Coral Cabana, Tiki Torch, Lime Rickey, and Fiesta Blue and adhered them to the umbrella base and adhered the umbrella to the card.

I stamped the small and medium rain drops from the Catherine Pooler Designs Pitter Patterns Stamp Set with CP Something Borrowed Ink then die cut them with the Pitter Pattern Dies. I adhered three of them and the umbrella to the card.

I stamped a sentiment from the Catherine Pooler Designs Pitter Patterns Stamp Set with CP Midnight Ink and cut it to 1/2 x 3-1/2″. Then finished it off by adding some Catherine Pooler Designs Portland Sequin Mix and some Glossy Accents to the rain drops.

I left the inside of the card blank.

For the second card, I did the exact same things with a few exceptions. I cutting a piece of Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 9-1/2 x 5-3/4″ and scored at 4-3/4” to create a card base and thIs time I adhered the sun directly to the card base and didn’t leave any border around it.

I diecut two umbrella bases using the Catherine Pooler Designs Under the Umbrella Dies from Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ again and used the direct-to-paper technique with CP Something Borrowed Ink on the handle only and cut it out. Then diecut the patterned sections from Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″, and again used direct-to-paper technique with Party Dress, Orange Peel, Aquatini, and Something Borrowed and adhered them to the umbrella base and adhered the umbrella to the card.

Again, I used a few small and medium rain drops from the Catherine Pooler Designs Pitter Patterns Stamp Set stamped with CP Something Borrowed Ink then die cut them with the Pitter Pattern Dies. I adhered three of them and the umbrella to the card.

I stamped the same sentiment from the Catherine Pooler Designs Pitter Patterns Stamp Set with CP Midnight Ink and fussycut it this time. And added some Catherine Pooler Designs Portland Sequin Mix.
