Fall Shaker Card feat. Catherine Pooler Designs Halloween Mug Shots

Hello friends. Here’s another Autumn inspired card featuring the cute pumpkin mug from Catherine Pooler Designs Halloween Mug Shots (incl. in the Boo Box). This time I created a shaker card using the Haunted Tags & Charms Dies (also incl. in the Boo Box).

For this card, I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″ to create an A2 card base, and a piece of pattern paper from the CP Sunflower Fields Forever 6 x 6 Patterned Paper to 4 x 5-1/4″.

I die cut the shaker window from the pattern paper panel using the tag in the Haunted Tags & Charms Dies (incl. in the Boo Box). I added a piece of acetate with double-sided tape and added foam tape to the back. For the backer panel I cut a piece of Lawn Fawn Paper Bag 100 lb Cardstock to 4 x 5-1/4″ and used the Taylored Expressions Burlap Embossing Folder to add texture. For the shaker bits, I used some orange, red, brown and green sequins from my stash.

I stamped the pumpkin mug and foam images from the Catherine Pooler Designs Halloween Mug Shots (incl. in the Boo Box) onto some Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I used Copic markers to color the images. I used YR04, YR09, YR14, , E23, E29, YG25, & YG67 for the mug; and W0 & 0, YG25, and E23 for the foam and straw.

I stamped the sentiment from Catherine Pooler Designs Boo Day Stampset (included in the Boo Box) onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with CP Eucalyptus Ink, fussycut it and adhered it to the card.

On the inside of the card, I cut a piece of CP Sunflower Fields Forever 6 x 6 Patterned Paper to 1 x 4-1/4″ and stamped a sentiment from the stampset included in the Queen and Company Happy Harvest Fall Kit with CP Orange Peel Ink.

Shop Your Stash: Flat Shaker Using Older Stamps feat. Catherine Pooler Designs

Hello friends. Continuing on my quest to make birthday cards and give new life to some older supplies, I made this flat shaker. I pulled out some older Catherine Pooler Designs stampsets for this one and combined it with some modern elements like the flat shaker to create a fun interactive card!

For this card, I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″ to create the card base and another piece to 4-1/4 x 5-1/2″.

I stamped one of the graphic images from the Catherine Pooler Designs Perfect Blend Stampset (discontinued) with Catherine Pooler Designs Sand Castle Ink and then ink blended the background to create a gradient with Catherine Pooler Designs Sand Castle Ink and Catherine Pooler Designs Over Coffee Ink.

I adhered the panel to one of the Trinity Stamps A-2 Card Flat Acetate Shaker Pouches. You must adhere three sides first, add your sequins then seal the fourth side. I used Honey Bee Stamps Freshly Brewed Sequin Mix, as well as some aqua and yellow ones from my stash.

I stamped the coffee cup, graphic image, and beans from Catherine Pooler Designs Perfect Blend Stampset (discontinued) onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Catherine Pooler Designs Hot Tub and Over Coffee Inks. I stamped the diagonal stripe piece from Catherine Pooler Designs For Everything Stampset (discontinued) with CP Sauna Ink.

I cut out a circle from Vellum using the Stampin’ Up! Layering Circle Dies. And stamped a sentiment onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ from Catherine Pooler Designs For Everything Stampset (discontinued) and Honey Bee Stamps Mini Messages: Birthday Stampsets and fussycut around it. I used some Foam Tape to pop up the coffee cup and some of the beans.

I left the inside of the card blank and added the same diagonal stripe piece from Catherine Pooler Designs For Everything Stampset (discontinued) which I stamped with Catherine Pooler Designs Hot Tub Ink. I also added some beans.

Slimline Interactive Birthday Card featuring Lawn Fawn

Hello friends. This card features the Lawn Fawn Fly High stampset. This is an example on how to create an interactive slimline card with this stampset. The hot air balloons can be used in a variety of ways. Check out the mini slimline Valentine’s Day card I made with it to see more ideas in my previous post.

For this card, I cut a piece of Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock to 7โ€ณ x 8-1/2โ€ณ and scored at 3-1/2โ€ณ to create the card base. I diecut a piece of Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock with the largest stitched slimline frame from the Lawn Fawn Large Slimline with Sliders, which measures 3-1/2 x 8-1/2″.

I used the Simon Says Stamp Stencil BUILD A RAINBOW with Tim Holtz Squeezed Lemonade, Scattered Straw, and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Inks to color the background. I splashed some water onto it and dried it off.

I stamped the images from the Lawn Fawn Fly High stampset onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I paper pieced the hot air balloins using the Lawn Fawn Stripes ‘n Sprinkles 6×6 Petite Pack and Doodlebug Dot Stripe Rainbow Petite Prints 6×6 Inch Paper. Then colored the rest of theb images including the balloon’s bucket with Copic Markers. I used E13, E25, & E27 for the balloon bucket; RV52 & RV55, Y13 & Y17, YG03 & YG45, B24 & 28, and BV11 & BV17 for the banners; BG000 & 0 for the clouds; C0, C1 & C3, R20, Y13 & Y17, BV11 & BV17, RV52 & RV55, and B24 for the elephants; C1, C3 & C5, YG03 & YG45, and Y13 & Y17.

Before adhereing my images. I die cut the slider mechanism using the Lawn Fawn Large Slimline with Sliders. Then, I stamped a sentiment using Lawn Fawn Fly High stampset onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then cut them down.

On the inside of the card, I stamped a sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Happy Happy Happy-on with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

Creating a Holiday Shaker Card feat. Catherine Pooler Designs Cookie Sheet Dies

Hello friends. I recently received my Baking Spirits Bright Card Kit Box from Catherine Pooler Designs and am having so much fun making cards. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, in July she released a card kit box that is remeniscent of her old Stamp of Approval boxes that were released quarterly years ago. The theme of the box is holiday baking so it has alot of super cute images and dies. This box also came with a virtual retreat packed full of classes. For my first card I knew I needed to make a shaker card using the cute baking rack in the kit.

For the first card, I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 5-1/4 x 10-1/2″ and scored at 5-1/4″ to create a card base and another piece to 5 x 5″. I stenciled the backgound using the Catherine Pooler Designs Ditsy Holly Layering Stencil (included in the Baking Spirits Bright Card Kit) along with Simon Hurley Later Gator Lunar Paste for the leaves and CP Rouge Ink mixed with Modeling Paste for the berries.

For the shaker I die cut the cookie sheet from Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with the CP Cookie Sheet Dies (included in the Baking Spirits Bright Card Kit) as well as several of the baking rack (I cut off the grid part so it gave me several borders to stack). I used the direct-to-paper technique with CP Rouge Ink to color the cookie sheet.

I added a piece of acetate behind the baking rack before adding all the stacked frame pieces. I used the CP Bavaria Sequin Mix and Sparkling Sugar Sparkles Glitter by WOW for the shaker bits.

I stamped the cookies using CP Cotton Candy, Gingerbread, and Rouge inks and heat embossed the gingerbread man’s details with White Embossing Powder. For the rolling pin I used CP Grass Skirt Ink and a woodgrain paper from the From the Kitchen 6 x 6 Paper Pack (included in the Baking Spirits Bright Card Kit) with the Mix & Bake (included in the Baking Spirits Bright Card Kit) dies.

I stamped the sentiment from the CP Baking Spirits Bright Stampset (included in the Baking Spirits Bright Card Kit) onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with CP Midnight Ink and fussycut it before adding it to the card,

I finished off the card by adding some CP Bavaria Sequin Mix.

On the inside of the card I stamped a sentiment from the CP Sweet Holiday Sentiments Stampset (included in the Baking Spirits Bright Card Kit) with CP Rouge Ink and added another gingerbread man.

Pop Up Baby Shower Cards feat. Lawn Fawn Elephant Parade

Hello friends. I couldn’t resist making a baby pop up card with the Lawn Fawn Elephant Parade stamps after seeing the one Mona from the Lawn Fawn design team made (Baby themed pop-up box card with Mona). It was so damn cute!

Granted these pop up cards take a very long time to make so I made two! LOL. Actually I originally made this card for my mom to take to a baby shower but wanted to share it with you all and I just had to make a “masculine” and “feminine” card. Obviously you can make this in the color scheme the parents choose or go with a gender neutral color if you don’t know their colors.

For this card, I die cut the bases from I die cut the sentiment panel from Stampin’ Up! Basic Gray 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock and Lawn Fawn Kraft 8-1/2 x 11″ Cardstock using the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Box Card Pop Up Dies. For the outside pattern panels I used Pebbles 12 x 12 Special Delivery (discontinued) and Echo Park IT’S A GIRL 6 x 6 Mega Paper Pad. I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 2-3/4 x 3-3/4″ for the larger outside panel which creates a space for your message.

For the grassy areas I used Simon Says Stamp 100# GREEN APPLE 8-1/2 x 11″ Cardstock and the Lawn Fawn Simple Grassy Hillsides Dies. The flowers were die cut using Lawn Fawn Straight Flower Border from Lawn Fawn Single-Sided Petite Paper 6″X6″ Perfectly Plaid Remix (discontinued?) and Simon Says Stamp 100# GREEN APPLE 8-1/2 x 11″ Cardstock. The banner on the front panel was die cut from Pebbles 12 x 12 Special Delivery (discontinued) and Echo Park IT’S A GIRL 6 x 6 Mega Paper Pad using the Lawn Fawn Fancy Wavy Banners Dies.

I stamped all the images for both cards from the Lawn Fawn Elephant Parade, Lawn Fawn Elephant Parade Add-on and Lawn Fawn Hello Baby (discontinued) Stampsets onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Memento TUXEDO BLACK Ink and colored with Copic Markers.

I used C00 & C3, R20 & R30 for the elephants; C00 & C3, R20 for the mice; and BG000, Y000, & R000 (blue card) and BG10, Y000 & R000 (pink card) for the bubbles; Y00 & E55 for the peanuts; BG000 & 0, B32 & B37, Y02 & Y15, BG11 & BG34 (blue card) and BG10 & 0, G12 & G82, Y000 & Y02, R00 & R20 (pink card) for the bottles; BG11 & BG10 (blue card) and R000 & R00 (pink card) for the banners; Y00, Y02 & Y15 for the crown; G12 & G82 for the bow; Y000, Y00, & Y02 for the balloons; and Y000, Y02 & Y15, B32 & B37 (blue card) and R00 & R20, Y000 & Y02, G12 & G82 (pink card) for the rattles.

All images were die cut using the coordinating dies.

These cards fold flat to fit into a regular A2 envelope. My balloons go outside the box top so I made a custom envelope to fit it better.
