Hello friends. Here’s a quick and simple Holiday card that was created entirely from dies. No stamping required! This card combines Catherine Pooler Designs, Lawn Fawn and Queen & Company products.

Hello friends. Here’s a fun way to use the same dies to get two different looks. My cards feature the Catherine Pooler Designs Candy Cane Christmas and Festive Joy Word Dies. One card uses the Candy Cane Christmas dies as a background for a large dimensional sentiment and the other uses the same dies as the focal image which are shakers.
I die cut the candy canes from the back panel using the base candy cane dies from the Catherine Pooler Designs Candy Cane Christmas Dies. Then added pattern paper behind them from CP Bring on the Figgy Pudding Patterned Paper and Under the Tree Slimline Patterned Paper (discontinued).

Hello friends. Want to make some fun interactive holidays cards that won’t cost you extra postage?!? Try making flat shaker cards. These cards, using the Trinity Stamps A-2 Card Flat Acetate Shaker Pouches and Catherine Pooler Designs Festive Joy Word Die were quick to make. The watercolor background takes a little longer due to drying time but doesn’t add much extra time to the process and it elevates the card with little effort.
Hello friends. Need a quick card for the holidays?!? The Lawn Fawn String of Lights Backdrop Die makes that very easy! Actually this die could be used for other occasions – Halloween, Valentine’s Day cards… So many combinations are available with this die set. Stay tuned for future blog posts showing how I use pieces of this die on other cards.
Hello friends. The next post in my Fall Card series features two cards using the same Frame die in two very different ways. And I also stepped up one of the cards by adding a fancy fold inside the card. The first one is a shaker but it turned out to be difficult to see the shaker bits inside because of the word die I used, so really this one ‘doesn’t ‘need to be a shaker; it could easily be a floating sentiment like the second card.
For this card, I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″ to create a card base and another piece to 4-1/4 x 5-1/2″. I die cut the shadow from the Honey Bee Stamps Large Thanks Dies (retired) and backed it with Acetate to create a window. I used the Catherine Pooler Fall Frames to emboss the border on the top panel. Check your embossing machines for the proper sandwich to do this properly.
I finished off the card by adding some Nuvo Drops in Dark Walnut.
For the inside of the card I decided to step it up and add a fancy fold! I started by cutting a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 4-1/2 x 8-1/2″ and scored it at 2-1/8″, 4-1/4″, and 6-7/8″. Basically scoring it into quarters. Then I adhered I inside the card. I cut 4 pieces of pattern paper from Catherine Pooler Designs Sunflower Fields Forever Patterned Paper to 2-1/4″ (2) and 2-1/8″ (2). I shaved off about 1/16″ from all the panels so it didn’t interfere with the folds.

Hello friends. Today I’m using the Lawn Fawn Portrait Giant Outlined Happy Birthday die to create an embossed background. This card was pretty quick to make even with all the die cutting involved.
On the inside of the card, I stamped a sentiment from Catherine Pooler Designs Young at Heart stampset (not available-part of the Stamp of Approval Collections she used to produce) with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and added some of the small shapes left over from the sentiment panels.

Hello friends. I could not help but make some more baby cards with the Lawn Fawn Giant Outlined Hello Baby Die. It’s such a fun die to play with. I combined this one with images from an older stampset I have, the Lawn Fawn Hello Baby Stampset (which ironically has the same name as the die but is now discontinued).
For this card, I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″ to create a card base. And another piece from the Doodlebug 6 x 6 Kraft in color – color paper to 4-1/4 x 5-1/2. I die cut a scalloped panel from Stampin’ Up! Balmy Blue 12 x 12 Glimmer Cardstock (retired) using the Catherine Pooler Tags, Etc Die set.
I stamped images from the Lawn Fawn Hello Baby Stampset (discontinued) onto some Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Memento TUXEDO BLACK Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I used YG25, YG17 & YG01 and Y02, Y13, & Y15 for the frog; C1, C3 & C5, R20 for the bunny; BG000 & 0 for the cloud; Y02, Y13, & Y15, R20, YR09 & YR16 for the ducks; YG25 & YG17 for the rattles; and B14, B16 & B12 for the umbrella.
Inside Panel = 1 x 4-1/4″ Doodlebug 6 x 6 Kraft in color – color paper and 3/4 x 4-1/4″ Echo Park – Bundle of Joy (Dots & Stripes) 6 x 6 Paper Pack (discontinued)

Hello friends. I needed some very quick baby shower cards recently to bring to my cousin’s baby shower and of course my brain could not come up with anything. I saw this card from the Lawn Fawn design team, Kara Pogreba, which was really cute and seemed quick to make so I had to CASE it. I love the elephants from the Lawn Fawn Elephant Parade stampsets! So cute!!! And you can make them any color you want too! I was given specific colors to use.

Hello friends. Mother’s Day is coming soon and if you need to make a quick card here’s one for you. For this very bright and happy card I used stencils to create a quick background with lots of punch.

Hello friends. I just had to make another rainbow card using the Lawn Fawn Giant Outlined Happy Birthday dies. This time I’m using the Landscape die with a stamped background. I used the new Lawn Fawn How You Bean? Buttons Add-on to create the background. This card was super easy to create. And if you don’t like coloring images, this stampset has a solid button image you layer over the button outline.
