Double Sided Shaped Valentine’s Day Card featuring Honey Bee Stamps

Hello friends. For this card, I decided to create a shaped card with the Honey Bee Stamps Big Pickup Cab, Big Pickup Tailgate, and Loads of Love 6×6 Stamp Sets. This card was a little time-consuming because of all the coloring but I think worth it in the end! I love how this turned out!!!

For this card, I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 7 x 10 and scored at 5″ to create an A7 card base. I folded the card base and then die cut the shaped truck card by aligning the truck die up against the fold line but overhanging it a little. This will create the shape card. You can do this with any shape die.

Next, I stamped both the front and back of the truck and envelope images from the Big Pickup Cab, Big Pickup Tailgate, and Loads of Love 6×6 Stamp Sets onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored them with Copic markers. I used R17, R29, R59 & R69 for the truck; R83, R85 & RV10 for the truck bed; C0, C1, C3, C5 & C7 for the bumper and mirrors; C7 & C9 for the tires; BG000, BG10 & 0 (blender) for the windows; Y0000 & Y15 for the lights; and C1, 0, & RV10 for the envelopes. I die cut everything with the coordinating dies for each stamp set.

I stamped a sentiment from the Big Pickup Cab onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I die cut one part of the sentiment with the coordinating die and hand cut the second. I also stamped a sentiment on the license plate from the Big Pickup Tailgate.

I added some white highlights to both sides with a white gel pen.

I left the inside of the card blank.

Shaped Easter Gnome Card featuring Trinity Stamps

Hello friends. This cute egg shaped card features the Trinity Stamps Springtime Gnome Die Set. This little gnome is very easy to put together and the can be used for many occasions. Let’s put this card together…

For this card, I die cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″, folded in half using the Sizzix Framelits Die Set 10PK – Egg (discontinued) to create the card base. to accomplish this I simply left one side of the die off the edge of the folded card base before die cutting. This card base measures 3-3/4 x 5-1/4″ I also cut a smaller egg shape for the front panel.

I colored the sky with Tim Holtz Uncharted Mariner and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Inks. Then die cut the grass from Simon Says Stamp 100lb Green Apple Cardstock with the Lawn Fawn Simple Grassy Hillsides and also used the Egg framelits to shape it.

I die cut the gnome’s hat, hands and bunny ear insides from Echo Park 12 x 12 I Love Easter Cardstock Pack (discontinued I believe) using the Trinity Stamps Springtime Gnome Die Set. The bunny ears, nose, face and beard were die cut from Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ and colored with Copic Markers. I used E000 for the nose, E000, E00, R20 & 0 for the face; and C0 & 0 for the ears. His shoes, hat band and all the eggs were die cut from Doodlebug 6 x 6 Dot Grid Daisy Stripe Pack (discontinued I think).

I added a sentiment using the Simon Says Stamp Sentiment Strips REVERSE EASTER WISHES. I finished off the card by adding some highlights with a White Gel Pen.

I left the inside of the card blank.

Donut Valentine’s Day Card featuring Trinity Stamps

Hello friends. For this post I decided to CASE Brenda Noelke’s card from the Trinity Stamps’ design team. I used distress ink to color all the pieces of the donut, however. I was surprised how quickly you can make a card with these dies! Look for more posts featuring Trinity Stamps new dies.

For this card, I die cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ using the Trinity Stamps Circle Shaped Card Die Set create a card base and another piece which I cut in half and use one circle to cover the acetate I will add in the center hole later. I also die cut the frosting and the heart from Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″.

I used Ranger Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Distress Ink for the donut base; Worn Lipstick and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Inks for the frosting; and Catherine Pooler Designs Rockin’ Red Ink for the heart. I stamped the glaze from the Trinity Stamps A-GLAZE-ing 4×8 Stamp Set with Catherine Pooler Designs Rockin’ Red Ink.

I added a piece of acetate to the center of the donut and the added the heart on top and the other white piece of the circle card which I added to the back of the front panel.

I stamped a sentiment from the Trinity Stamps A-GLAZE-ing 4×8 Stamp Set onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Catherine Pooler Designs Rockin’ Red Ink adn trimmed it down. Lastly I added some Sugared Surprise Sprinkles Embellishment Mix.

On the inside of the card, I stamped just added another frosting piece, colored with Worn Lipstick and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Inks.

Watercolored Shaped Card: St. Patrick’s Day

Hello friends. I’m bringing out an oldie but goodie from Honey Bee Stamps to make this fun St. Patrick’s Day card. I used the Honey Bee Stamps Frappe Shaker Card (which I’ve used a ton because I truly love it!) and combined it with the Lawn Fawn Lucky Clovers to make a quick card. Who doesn’t love a green drink?!

For this card, I die cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with the Honey Bee Stamps Frappe Shaker Card (I think it may discontinued) to create the card base. And a piece of Cold Press Watercolor Paper die for the top panel and the whip cream portion which I will be watercoloring.

I used my Kuretake Gansai Tambi 36 Watercolor Paints and Kuretake Gansai Tambi Starry Colors Watercolor to color the two pieces. I used a light and dark green as well as a light gold for the cup. And a white gold with a light gold for the whip cream.

I colored the cup lid part of the card base with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. Then die cut the lid from Acetate and the straw from Authentique 6 x 6 Emerald Paper (discontinued). I die cut the clover from Tim Holtz Idea-ology 8 x 8 Paper Stash METALLIC KRAFT STOCK using the Lawn Fawn Lucky Clovers.

I finished off the card by adding some gold sequins from my stash.

On the inside of the card, I added clovers die cut from Authentique 6 x 6 Emerald Paper (discontinued) using the Lawn Fawn Lucky Clovers dies.

I finished it off by adding some Nuvo Drop in Bright Gold and Sunlit Meadow.

On the inside of the card, I stamped Happy Happy Happy Add-on using Catherine Pooler Grass Skirt Ink and added a gold clover.
