Mother’s Day Card featuring Lawn Fawn Magic Iris Floral Wreath Add-on

Hi friends. Mother’s Day is fast approaching and if you need a card and don’t love to stamp and color images, this one is for you! I only used dies and inks to create this card.

For this card, I cut a piece of Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock to 5 x10″ and scored at 5″ to create the card base. I also cut a piece of Echo Park My Favorite Easter 6 x 6 Paper Pad cut to 4-1/2 x 4-1/2″ for the top panel.

I stamped the wreath and many flowers from Lawn Fawn Magic Iris Floral Wreath Add-on Die Cuts twice from Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock. I colored the wreath and flowers with Distress Oxide Inks. I used Tim Holtz Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks for the leaves and stems and Picked Raspberry, Squeezed Lemonade, Broken China, Milled Lavender and Wilted Violet for the flowers.

I adhered the wreath to the card. Next, I die cut a sentiment from the Queen & Co Sentiment Stacker Dies #1 from Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock and the shadow from Vellum Paper. I cut three of the”Mom” word to create a more dimensional sentiment.

Lastly, I finished it off by adding Nuvo Drops in Ivory Seashell.

On the inside of the card, I adhered a piece of Echo Park My Favorite Easter 6 x 6 Paper Pad cut to 1 x 4-1/4″ and stamped a sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Happy Happy Happy Stampset with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink. I also added a flower to the bottom.

Mother’s Day Jar of Flowers Slimline Card

Hi friends. Mother’s Day (in the U.S.) is coming up so I decided to make a nice floral bouquet for mom. I had to pull out my well loved mason jar stamp set from Lawn Fawn to give the flowers a cute holder. I love the How You Bean? stampset! So many cute cards you can make with it.

I decided to make modified slimline card. I started by cutting a piece of Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 7 x 7-1/2″ and scored to 3-1/2 and a top panel to 3-1/4 x 7-1/4″. I used the My Favorite Things Mini Cloud Edges Stencil and Tim Holtz TUMBLED GLASS Distress Oxide Ink Pad by Ranger to create a cloud background.

Next I stamped the mason jar from Lawn Fawn How You Bean? onto the top panel with Catherine Pooler Midnight Ink and the stems and leaves from Queen & Company’s Love Jar Kit stampset with Catherine Pooler Eucalyptus Ink. I added a little shading to the mason jar with BG000 and 0 Copic Markers and diecut it using the coordinating dies. I also diecut two additional jars from Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock which I adhered behind the image to add dimension.

I stamped several flowers from the Queen & Company’s Love Jar Kit stampset onto a piece of Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Catherine Pooler Be Mine, It’s a Boy, Queen For a Day, Tutti Frutti, and Limoncello Inks. I diecut them all with the coordinating Love Jar Flowers & Stem Dies.

I adhered the card panel and mason jar to the card base and the flowers, using Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop up some of the flowers. I stamped the from the Lawn Fawn HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY Stampset onto a piece of Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock with Catherine Pooler Tutti Frutti Ink and Catherine Pooler Eucalyptus Ink. I diecut the “happy” with the coordinating sentiment dies and trimmed the “Mother’s Day” to 1/2 x 2-1/4″. I finished off the card by adding some Nuvo Drops in Ivory Shell to the flowers and highlights to the mason jar with White Gel Pen.

On the inside of the card, I stamped a sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Well Said Stampset with Catherine Pooler Midnight Ink and added some extra diecut flowers.
