A Berry Sweet Valentine featuring Lawn Fawn’s Sweet Strawberry and Scripty Love Dies

Hello friends. If you need a quick and simple card for this Valentine’s Day, check out this card! I combined the Lawn Fawn’s Sweet Strawberry and Scripty Love Dies to create this sweet card. Even with the coloring it didn’t take long to make.

For this card, I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″ to create an A2 card base. Then die cut the backdrop from Martha Stewart Holidays (Valentine’s Themed) 12 x 12 Cardstock (no longer available) with the Catherine Pooler Designs Dots & Scallops Dies, which measures 3-15/16 x 5-1/4″.

I die cut the doily from some pink cardstock (Scrapbook.com 6 x 8 Glossy Cardstock Paper Pad – Pastel & Rainbow). I stamped three strawberries (saved one for later) from the Lawn Fawn Sweet Strawberry stampset onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Memento Tuxedo Ink. I used Copic Markers to color the images. I used R81, R85 and R29, E25, E29 and E49, and YG01 and YG17. I added highlights with a white gel pen.

For the sentiment I stamped part of it from Lawn Fawn Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Love onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Memento Tuxedo Ink. And then die cut the word ‘love’ from Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ using the Lawn Fawn Scripty Love and the shadow/outline from red metallic cardstock from Tim Holtz idea-ology 8 x 8 Paper Stash Metallic Jewels Kraft Stock using the Lawn Fawn Scripty Love Outline Add-on die.

On the inside of the card blank, I cut a strip of cardstock (same as the front panel) to 1 x 4-1/4″ and added the third strawberry I had colored.

Create a Shaker Card Using Word Dies! feat. Catherine Pooler Designs

Hello friends. Here’s an easy way to make a shaker card. Just use word dies to cut out the shaker window! This one was created using Catherine Pooler Designs Festive Joy Word Die.

For this card, I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″ as well as a piece of watercolor paper to 4-1/4 x 5-1/2″ for the background.

For the back panel I used Color Burst Powder (Brights) to add watercolor. Then die cut it using the CP Dots & Scallops Dies. I stamped swirl from the CP It’s Magic Background Stamp with CP Midnight Ink.

I die cut the shaker window using the CP Festive Joy Word Die, added some acetate behind it as well as some foam tape. I added sequins in pinks, reds, greens and white iridescent to the shaker. And backed it with a piece of Simon Says Stamp Cardstock 100lb Black Cardstock.

I stamped a sentiment from the Catherine Pooler Holiday Joy Sentiments Stamp Set onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with CP Midnight Ink and fuzzycut it. I also stamped the holly from the same set and colored using Copic markers. I used R59 & R27, YG17 & YG25.

On the inside of the card, I added the positive of the word joy I previously cut out and added another holly. And for the sentiment, I stamped a sentiment from the Catherine Pooler Holiday Joy Sentiments Stamp Set onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with CP Midnight Ink and fuzzycut it.

How to Elevate a Watercolored Background feat. Catherine Pooler Designs Halloween Mug Shots

Hello friends. The Catherine Pooler Designs Halloween Mug Shot Stampset (included in the Boo Box) is adorable for Halloween but also can be used to create Fall cards. For this card I took a simple watercolor background and elevated it by adding stamped images.

For this card, I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″ to create an A2 card base, a piece of watercolor paper to 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 (this panel will be die cut later).

I used Color Burst Powder Brights 6 Pack to color the background and add splatters. Once dried I stamped images from the Catherine Pooler Designs Autumn Blessings Stampset (discontinued) with CP Sauna Ink. Then cut some strips of pattern paper from the CP Sunflower Fields Forever 6 x 6 Patterned Paper. I die cut the panel using the CP Dots & Scallops Dies.

I stamped the owl mug from the Catherine Pooler Designs Halloween Mug Shots Stampset (included in the Boo Box) onto some Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Memento Tuxedo Ink. I used Copic markers to color some of the image. I used C1, C3, C5, & C7 and Y17 & Y06.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from Catherine Pooler Designs Boo Day Stampset (included in the Boo Box) onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with CP S’mores Ink, fussycut it and adhered it to the card panel.

On the inside of the card, I cut two pieces of CP Sunflower Fields Forever 6 x 6 Patterned Paper to 1 x 4-1/4″ and 1-1/4 x 4-1/4″ and stamped a sentiment from the Catherine Pooler Designs Autumn Blessings Stampset (discontinued) with CP Sauna and CP S’mores Inks.
