Fall Owl Mug Card feat. Catherine Pooler Designs Count to Six Cover Plate and Halloween Mug Shots

Hello friends. Here’s another Fall card featuring Catherine Pooler Designs Count to Six Cover Plate and the cute owl mug from the Halloween Mug Shots Stampset.

For this card, I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″ as well as a piece of Strathmore 300 Series Bristol Paper Smooth to 4-1/4 x 5-1/2″ for the background.

For the back panel I used Color Burst Powder (Brights) to add watercolor. Then die cut the Catherine Pooler Designs Count to Six Cover Plate (included in the Boo Box) from Catherine Pooler Designs Sunflower Fields Forever 6 x 6 Patterned Paper.

I stamped several leaves from the Lawn Fawn Scripty Autumn Sentiments onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Catherine Pooler Designs Midnight Ink. I used inks to color them. I used CP Green Tea, Polished, Orange Peel, and Sauna inks.

I stamped the owl mug from the Catherine Pooler Designs Halloween Mug Shots (included in the Boo Box) with Catherine Pooler Designs Midnight Ink onto watercolor paper. I used CP Spiced, S’mores and Orange Twist inks with a blender pen for the mug and Pebble, Orange Twist and Polished for the foam.

For the sentiment I stamped part of it from Lawn Fawn Scripty Autumn Sentiments onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Catherine Pooler Designs Midnight Ink and fussy cut it, the second part with CP Green Tea ink which I die cut with the coordinating word die and the last part I stamped with black ink onto a banner die cut from the Law Fawn Fancy Wavy Banners (retired). I also used the Green Tea ink to color the banner outline.

On the inside of the card, I cut a piece of Catherine Pooler Designs Sunflower Fields Forever 6 x 6 Patterned Paper to 1 x 4-1/4″ and stamped a sentiment from the Honey Bee Stamps Autumn Stampset (retired) with CP Spiced and Green Tea Inks and some more leaves.

Using Up Scraps to Create A Background feat. Catherine Pooler Designs Count to Six Cover Plate

Hello friends. For this card, I thought I’d use up some of my patterned paper scraps. You can easily make a quick and impactful background using strips of cardstock and pattern papers. I used the Catherine Pooler Designs Count to Six Cover Plate to create my focal image but as you’ll see I did a little something different to it to make it work for this card!

For this card, I cut a piece of Lawn Fawn Paper Bag 100lb Cardstock to 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″. I cut strips of pattern paper from Catherine Pooler Designs Sunflower Fields Forever 6 x 6 Patterned Paper and Bushel and a Peck 6 x 6 Patterned Paper and adhered them on a diagonal onto the card base, trimming off any excess.

I die cut the Catherine Pooler Designs Count to Six Cover Plate (included in the Boo Box) 3x from Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ and cut off about half of each panel to create my window strip. Behind the panel I cut a piece of Lawn Fawn Paper Bag 100lb Cardstock and ran it through my die cut machine with the Darice Woodgrain Embossing Folder Background. I also used some CP Spiced Ink to add some color over the raised areas of the panel.

I stamped the several leaves from the Stampin’ up! Colorful Seasons Stampset (retired) onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with CP It’s a Girl, Samba, Sauna, Spiced, Green Tea, Eucalyptus, and Wintergreen inks. And cut them using the coordinating dies.

I stamped the sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Scripty Autumn Sentiments onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with CP Spiced Ink. I used the coordinating dies for the ‘autumn’ and hand trimmed the ‘hello’. I also die cut a banner from the Lawn Fawn Fancy Wavy Banner set (I think this may get discontinued soon) from Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ and colored the border with Eucalyptus ink.

On the inside of the card, I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 4 x 5-1/4″ and two pieces of Catherine Pooler Designs Bushel and a Peck 6 x 6 Patterned Paper to 1 x 4″ and 1-1/4 x 4″. I stamped a sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Scripty Autumn Sentiments with CP Spiced and Eucalyptus Inks and some more leaves.

How to Elevate a Watercolored Background feat. Catherine Pooler Designs Halloween Mug Shots

Hello friends. The Catherine Pooler Designs Halloween Mug Shot Stampset (included in the Boo Box) is adorable for Halloween but also can be used to create Fall cards. For this card I took a simple watercolor background and elevated it by adding stamped images.

For this card, I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″ to create an A2 card base, a piece of watercolor paper to 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 (this panel will be die cut later).

I used Color Burst Powder Brights 6 Pack to color the background and add splatters. Once dried I stamped images from the Catherine Pooler Designs Autumn Blessings Stampset (discontinued) with CP Sauna Ink. Then cut some strips of pattern paper from the CP Sunflower Fields Forever 6 x 6 Patterned Paper. I die cut the panel using the CP Dots & Scallops Dies.

I stamped the owl mug from the Catherine Pooler Designs Halloween Mug Shots Stampset (included in the Boo Box) onto some Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Memento Tuxedo Ink. I used Copic markers to color some of the image. I used C1, C3, C5, & C7 and Y17 & Y06.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from Catherine Pooler Designs Boo Day Stampset (included in the Boo Box) onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with CP S’mores Ink, fussycut it and adhered it to the card panel.

On the inside of the card, I cut two pieces of CP Sunflower Fields Forever 6 x 6 Patterned Paper to 1 x 4-1/4″ and 1-1/4 x 4-1/4″ and stamped a sentiment from the Catherine Pooler Designs Autumn Blessings Stampset (discontinued) with CP Sauna and CP S’mores Inks.

Fall Shaker Card feat. Catherine Pooler Designs Halloween Mug Shots

Hello friends. Here’s another Autumn inspired card featuring the cute pumpkin mug from Catherine Pooler Designs Halloween Mug Shots (incl. in the Boo Box). This time I created a shaker card using the Haunted Tags & Charms Dies (also incl. in the Boo Box).

For this card, I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″ to create an A2 card base, and a piece of pattern paper from the CP Sunflower Fields Forever 6 x 6 Patterned Paper to 4 x 5-1/4″.

I die cut the shaker window from the pattern paper panel using the tag in the Haunted Tags & Charms Dies (incl. in the Boo Box). I added a piece of acetate with double-sided tape and added foam tape to the back. For the backer panel I cut a piece of Lawn Fawn Paper Bag 100 lb Cardstock to 4 x 5-1/4″ and used the Taylored Expressions Burlap Embossing Folder to add texture. For the shaker bits, I used some orange, red, brown and green sequins from my stash.

I stamped the pumpkin mug and foam images from the Catherine Pooler Designs Halloween Mug Shots (incl. in the Boo Box) onto some Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I used Copic markers to color the images. I used YR04, YR09, YR14, , E23, E29, YG25, & YG67 for the mug; and W0 & 0, YG25, and E23 for the foam and straw.

I stamped the sentiment from Catherine Pooler Designs Boo Day Stampset (included in the Boo Box) onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with CP Eucalyptus Ink, fussycut it and adhered it to the card.

On the inside of the card, I cut a piece of CP Sunflower Fields Forever 6 x 6 Patterned Paper to 1 x 4-1/4″ and stamped a sentiment from the stampset included in the Queen and Company Happy Harvest Fall Kit with CP Orange Peel Ink.

Critter Scene Card featuring Lawn Fawn’s Jump for Joy

Hi friends. Here’s another cute scene card for Fall/Autumn. I pulled out some older Lawn Fawn and Honey Bee Stamps stamps and dies to make this one. I used the Honey Bee Stamps Birch A2 Cover Plate Base and Top Plate and Lawn Fawn Jump For Joy Stamps and Dies. I love the forest critters in this stampset. So cute!

For this card, I cut a piece of Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock to 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″ to create the card base. I inked the sky directly to the card base using Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Inks. Then added some splatter with White Acrylic Paint.

I diecut the tree base from Stampin’ Up! Early Espresso 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock and the top layer from both Stampin’ Up! Soft Suede 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock and Stampin’ Up! Early Espresso 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock, using the Honey Bee Stamps Birch A2 Cover Plate Base and Top Plate so I can stack them. I die cut the grass from Simon Says Stamp 100# Green Leaf Cardstock with the Lawn Fawn Grassy Border and colored with Tim Holtz Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink.

I stamped the forest critters, leaves, acorns and rake from Lawn Fawn Jump For Joy Stamps and the pumpkins from Honey Bee Loads of Fall Stamp Set onto Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Ink and colored them with Copic Markers.

I used YR16, YR27 & YR09, YG25 & YG17 for the pumpkins; R17, R26, & R05, Y17 & Y18, YR09, YR13, YR16 & YR27 for the leaves; E0000, E34 & E37 for the acorns; E70, E74, E34 , E37 & R20 for the porcupine; , W0, W1, W3, W5 & W7, R20 for the owl; E13, E99, E09, E37, R20, W0 & W3 for the squirrel; N2, N4, N5, R05, R17 & R46 for the rake and die cut with the coordinating dies.

I stamped the sentiment from Lawn Fawn Jump For Joy Stamps onto Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Cardstock with Tim Holtz Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink and Memento Tuxedo Ink. This stampset has a coordinating die set which cuts out the larger sentiments and leaves.

I finished the card by adding some highlights with a White Signo Gel Pen.
