A Berry Sweet Valentine featuring Lawn Fawn’s Sweet Strawberry and Scripty Love Dies

Hello friends. If you need a quick and simple card for this Valentine’s Day, check out this card! I combined the Lawn Fawn’s Sweet Strawberry and Scripty Love Dies to create this sweet card. Even with the coloring it didn’t take long to make.

For this card, I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″ to create an A2 card base. Then die cut the backdrop from Martha Stewart Holidays (Valentine’s Themed) 12 x 12 Cardstock (no longer available) with the Catherine Pooler Designs Dots & Scallops Dies, which measures 3-15/16 x 5-1/4″.

I die cut the doily from some pink cardstock (Scrapbook.com 6 x 8 Glossy Cardstock Paper Pad – Pastel & Rainbow). I stamped three strawberries (saved one for later) from the Lawn Fawn Sweet Strawberry stampset onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Memento Tuxedo Ink. I used Copic Markers to color the images. I used R81, R85 and R29, E25, E29 and E49, and YG01 and YG17. I added highlights with a white gel pen.

For the sentiment I stamped part of it from Lawn Fawn Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Love onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Memento Tuxedo Ink. And then die cut the word ‘love’ from Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ using the Lawn Fawn Scripty Love and the shadow/outline from red metallic cardstock from Tim Holtz idea-ology 8 x 8 Paper Stash Metallic Jewels Kraft Stock using the Lawn Fawn Scripty Love Outline Add-on die.

On the inside of the card blank, I cut a strip of cardstock (same as the front panel) to 1 x 4-1/4″ and added the third strawberry I had colored.

Cute Pickup Truck Valentine’s Day Card featuring Honey Bee Stamps

Hello friends. Here’s a cute Valentine’s Day Card that can be masculine or feminine, depending on you’re definition. This card features an oldy but goody from my Honey Bee Stamps, the Big Pickup Tailgate and the Loads of Love Add-on. I’ve had this add-on in my cart for a year now and I’m glad I finally bought it. So very cute and lots of options.

For this card, I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 5-1/2 x 11″ and scored at 5-1/2″ to create a square card base. Then cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 5-1/4 x 5-1/4″ background panel.

I stamped the little envelopes and hearts from the Loads of Love Add-on stampset onto the back panel with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Then colored the images with Copics. I used C0, C1, and 0 (blender) for the envelopes, R17 & R29 for hearts, and RV0000, RV000 & RV10 for the background.

Next, I stamped the truck image from the Honey Bee Stamps Big Pickup Tailgate stamp set and the heart stack and balloons from the HBS Loads of Love Add-on onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I also colored them with Copic Markers. I used BG15, BG09, BG45, & BG18 for the truck; R17 & R29 for the back lights; C5, C7 & C9 for the tires; C1, C3, C5, & C7 for the bumper; B00 & 0 (blender) for the windows; and R17, R29, & R39, RV10, RV11 & RV14 for the hearts and the license plate. I stamped and colored a second truck bed which I die cut out with the coordinating dies and popped up with foam tape.

I die cut the sentiment ‘Hello’ from the HBS Tailgate Alphabet from Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″. I also stamped the ‘HUGS’ from the Big Pickup Tailgate stamp set onto the license plate.

On the inside of the card, I die cut the sentiment from Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ using the HBS Tailgate Alphabet and colored the letters using the same red Copics.

A Valentine’s Day Card Using Only Dies featuring Lawn Fawn and Trinity Stamps

Hello friends. Here’s a cute coffee-themed Valentine’s Day card created using only dies and very minimal stamping. Great for the coffee lover in your life! Let me show you how I made this card.

For this card, I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 7 x 10 and scored at 5″ to create an A7 card base. I cut a piece of Honey Bee Stamps Giddy For Gingham Paper Pad 6 x 8.5” to 4-3/4 x 6-3/4″.

I die cut the coffee cup from the Lawn Fawn Coffee Cup Gift Card Holder out of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ and then embossed it using the Darice Wire Fence Embossing Folder, and the lid out of Strawberry Cheesecake Flowers Two Scoops Bazzill Cardstock. I die cut the sleeve from Lawn Fawn 8.5 x 11 Kraft Cardstock and then used one of vertical striped Embossing Folders from Queen and Company to add texture. And the heart was die cut from some Stampin’ Up! Poppy Parade 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock.

For the donuts, I used Trinity Stamps Tiny Donut Dipper Die Set with Lawn Fawn 8.5 x 11 Kraft Cardstock, Simon Says Stamp 100lb Cotton Candy Cardstock, Early Espresso 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock, Stampin’ Up! Mint Macaron 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock (retired), Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″, Stampin’ Up! Poppy Parade 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock, and Stampin’ Up! Highland Heather 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock.

I stamped the sentiment directly onto the coffee cup lid. I used Stampin’ Up! Crumb Cake Ink along with Honey Bee LATTE and Sugar Pea Designs Espresso Yourself (retired) Stamp Sets.

I finished off the card by adding some sparkle to the heart with a Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay Sparkle Pen and Tonic Gloss Simply White Nuvo Crystal Drops.

On the inside of the card, added a strip of the same pattern paper as the front panel cut to 1 x 5″, and another donut.

Creating a Background Using the New Lawn Fawn Sweet Strawberry Stencil

Hello friends. I’m starting my Valentine’s Day card series with a cute but simple card using new Lawn Fawn Sweet Strawberry stamp and coordinating stencil. The stencil made building my background so much faster than coloring with markers. I love my Copic markers but sometimes it’s nice not to have to color.

For this card, I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″ to create an A2 card base. I cut another piece to 4-1/4 x 5-1/2″.

I stamped the strawberries from the Lawn Fawn Sweet Strawberry stampset onto the back panel with Memento Tuxedo Ink and then used the coordinating stencil to color the images. I used Tim Holtz Candied Apple Distress Oxides Ink for the strawberry, and Tim Holtz Mowed Lawn and Ground Espresso Distress Oxides Ink.

I die cut the frames from Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle Frame and added a piece of vellum behind the largest frame measuring 3 x 4-1/4″.

I stamped 2 more strawberries from the Lawn Fawn Sweet Strawberry stampset onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Memento Tuxedo Ink and then used the coordinating stencil to color the images as well the coodinating dies to cut them out.

I die cut the sentiment from Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ using the Lawn Fawn Scripty Love and the shadow/outline from red metallic cardstock from Tim Holtz idea-ology 8 x 8 Paper Stash Metallic Jewels Kraft Stock using the Lawn Fawn Scripty Love Outline Add-on die.

I adhered the strawberries with some Stampin’ up! Dimensionals and added some shimmer with a Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay Sparkle Pen and some highlights with a white gel pen.

On the inside of the card I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 4 x 5-1/4″ and stamped part of the sentiment from Lawn Fawn Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment – Winter and Lawn Fawn Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment – Love using CP Lime Rickey. Then die cut the word ‘Berry’ from Stampin’ Up! Real Red 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock using the Lawn Fawn – Henry’s ABCs.
