Creating a Background Using the New Lawn Fawn Sweet Strawberry Stencil

Hello friends. I’m starting my Valentine’s Day card series with a cute but simple card using new Lawn Fawn Sweet Strawberry stamp and coordinating stencil. The stencil made building my background so much faster than coloring with markers. I love my Copic markers but sometimes it’s nice not to have to color.

For this card, I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″ to create an A2 card base. I cut another piece to 4-1/4 x 5-1/2″.

I stamped the strawberries from the Lawn Fawn Sweet Strawberry stampset onto the back panel with Memento Tuxedo Ink and then used the coordinating stencil to color the images. I used Tim Holtz Candied Apple Distress Oxides Ink for the strawberry, and Tim Holtz Mowed Lawn and Ground Espresso Distress Oxides Ink.

I die cut the frames from Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle Frame and added a piece of vellum behind the largest frame measuring 3 x 4-1/4″.

I stamped 2 more strawberries from the Lawn Fawn Sweet Strawberry stampset onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Memento Tuxedo Ink and then used the coordinating stencil to color the images as well the coodinating dies to cut them out.

I die cut the sentiment from Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ using the Lawn Fawn Scripty Love and the shadow/outline from red metallic cardstock from Tim Holtz idea-ology 8 x 8 Paper Stash Metallic Jewels Kraft Stock using the Lawn Fawn Scripty Love Outline Add-on die.

I adhered the strawberries with some Stampin’ up! Dimensionals and added some shimmer with a Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay Sparkle Pen and some highlights with a white gel pen.

On the inside of the card I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 4 x 5-1/4″ and stamped part of the sentiment from Lawn Fawn Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment – Winter and Lawn Fawn Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment – Love using CP Lime Rickey. Then die cut the word ‘Berry’ from Stampin’ Up! Real Red 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock using the Lawn Fawn – Henry’s ABCs.

Holiday Snowglobe Scene Card feat. Lawn Fawn Frosty Family

Hello friends. This cute little snowman family from Lawn Fawn Frosty Family Stamps was just so much fun to color and use on a card. I used the Catherine Pooler Snowglobe Dies (discontinued) to create this cute snowglobe scene.

For this card, I cut a piece of Stampin’ Up! Poppy Parade 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock to 11 x 5-1/2″ and scored at 5-1/2″ as well as a piece of Lawn Fawn Candy Cane Lane 6 x 6″Inch Paper Pack to 5-1/4 x 5-1/4″ using Queen & Company’s Foundation 16 Dies.

I die cut the snowglobe background from Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ using the Catherine Pooler Snowglobe Dies (discontinued). Then used Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass and Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide Inks to ink blend the sky. I sprayed some water on it as well as some splatter with Plaid-Craft Martha Stewart Pearl Acrylic Craft Paint. I die cut the snowy hills from Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ using Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders Dies and the snowglobe base from Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Metallic Gold & Silver Kraft Cardstock.

I stamped the snowmen and accessories from the Lawn Fawn Frosty Family Stamps onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image with Copic markers. I used BG000 & 0, R20, YR14 & YR04, and 100 for the snowmen; R17 & R46 and YG17 & YG67 for the scarves; W5 & W7 for the twig hands; and C1 & 0, R17 & R46 and YG17 & YG67 for the hats.

For the sentiment, I stamped it from the Lawn Fawn Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment – Winter onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I curved the top portion of the sentiment.

I finished the card by adding some shimmer with a Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay Sparkle Pen and some Nuvo White Gloss Drops.

On the inside of the card, I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 5-1/4 x 5-1/4″ using Queen & Company’s Foundation 16 Dies and a strip of Lawn Fawn Candy Cane Lane 6 x 6″ Inch Paper Pack to 1 x 5-1/4″. I stamped another sentiment from Lawn Fawn Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment – Winter with Stampin’ Up! Poppy Parade Ink.

Penguin Winter Scene Card featuring New and Old Lawn Fawn Products

Hello friends. This cute scene card was created using some older Lawn Fawn dies with their new holiday collection. I used the Lawn Fawn Spooky Forest Backdrop die which came out for Halloween as the forest on this card. I combined it with the new Peppy Penguin and String of Lights Backdrop dies to create this cute scene.

For this card, I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″ to create an A2 card base. Then die cut the backdrop from Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with the Lawn Fawn Spooky Forest Backdrop and the hillsides from Simon Says Stamp WHITE GLITTER 8-1/2 x 11″ Cardstock using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders. I also cut a piece of Lawn Fawn Candy Cane Lane 6×6 Inch Petite Paper Pack to 4-1/4 x 5-1/2″.

I die cut the strings of lights from silver cardstock from the Tim Holtz Metallic Idea-ology 8 x 8 Metallic Kraft Stock Paper and the bulbs from Tim Holtz Metallic Idea-ology 8 x 8 Metallic Jewels Kraft Stock Paper and Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ for the lightbulb backs. I cut off the individual strings and added them separately. I saved the outside silver border to add to the card.

I die cut the little penguin from Simon Says Stamp 100lb Black Cardstock, Simon Says Stamp Cardstock 100lb Slate Gray, and Stampin’ Up! Pumpkin Pie 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock. I popped up the spooky forest and one layer of the hillsides using 3M Foam Tape for added dimension.

For the penguin’s hat, I stamped the hat from the Lawn Fawn HATS OFF TO YOU Stamps onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored it with Copic markers. I used R17 and R29, C5, C7, and C9.

I stamped the sentiment from Lawn Fawn Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Winter Stamps
onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ with Catherine Pooler Designs Rockin’ Red Ink.

I left the inside of the card blank.
