A Valentine’s Day Card Using Only Dies featuring Lawn Fawn and Trinity Stamps

Hello friends. Here’s a cute coffee-themed Valentine’s Day card created using only dies and very minimal stamping. Great for the coffee lover in your life! Let me show you how I made this card.

For this card, I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 7 x 10 and scored at 5″ to create an A7 card base. I cut a piece of Honey Bee Stamps Giddy For Gingham Paper Pad 6 x 8.5” to 4-3/4 x 6-3/4″.

I die cut the coffee cup from the Lawn Fawn Coffee Cup Gift Card Holder out of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ and then embossed it using the Darice Wire Fence Embossing Folder, and the lid out of Strawberry Cheesecake Flowers Two Scoops Bazzill Cardstock. I die cut the sleeve from Lawn Fawn 8.5 x 11 Kraft Cardstock and then used one of vertical striped Embossing Folders from Queen and Company to add texture. And the heart was die cut from some Stampin’ Up! Poppy Parade 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock.

For the donuts, I used Trinity Stamps Tiny Donut Dipper Die Set with Lawn Fawn 8.5 x 11 Kraft Cardstock, Simon Says Stamp 100lb Cotton Candy Cardstock, Early Espresso 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock, Stampin’ Up! Mint Macaron 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock (retired), Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″, Stampin’ Up! Poppy Parade 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock, and Stampin’ Up! Highland Heather 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock.

I stamped the sentiment directly onto the coffee cup lid. I used Stampin’ Up! Crumb Cake Ink along with Honey Bee LATTE and Sugar Pea Designs Espresso Yourself (retired) Stamp Sets.

I finished off the card by adding some sparkle to the heart with a Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay Sparkle Pen and Tonic Gloss Simply White Nuvo Crystal Drops.

On the inside of the card, added a strip of the same pattern paper as the front panel cut to 1 x 5″, and another donut.

Coffee Lovers Summertime Card feat. Lawn Fawn Build-A-Drink

Hello friends. I could not pass up the opportunity to make a coffee themed card using the Lawn Fawn Build-A-Drink Dies. Iced coffee is one of my favorite summer beverages so I had to make this card! I love how it turned out too!

For this card, I cut a piece of Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ to 7 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 3-1/2″ to create a card base, die cut a piece of Stampin’ Up!’s Coffee Break 12 x 12 Pattern Paper (retired) with the largest die in the Lawn Fawn Large Slimline with Sliders and cut another piece to 3-1/4 x 8-1/4″. I cut a piece of Stampin’ Up!’ Early Espresso 8-1/2 x 11″ Cardstock to 1-3/8 x 8-1/4″ which I embossed using the Stampin’ Up!’s Pinewood 3D Embossing Folder (retired) and added some Stampin’ Up!’s Early Espresso Ink to highlight the raised areas.

On the aqua pattern paper background I added coffee rings using Stampin’ Up!’s Early Espresso and Pool Party Inks. I used the lids of small bottle like a small squeeze bottle and other aorund my craft room.

I die cut the glasses and beverage parts from Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ using the Lawn Fawn Build-A-Drink. I colored the cold brew coffee with Stampin’ Up!’s Early Espresso Ink and the latte with Catherine Pooler Designs Sand Castle and Over Coffee inks. I added water to both drinks as well as some white specs to the latte beverage with White Acryic Paint.

The ice cubes were cut from Vellum and the coffe beans from Stampin’ Up!’ Early Espresso 8-1/2 x 11″ Cardstock and inked with Stampin’ Up!’s Early Espresso Ink. the starw was die cut from a green piece of pattern paper from Stampin’ Up!’s Coffee Break 12 x 12 Pattern Paper (retired).

I stamped the donuts from Lawn Fawn’s Donut Worry Stampset onto Neenah 100lb Classic Crest Cardstock 8.5 X 11″ using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic Markers. I used E21, E34, and E23 for the doughnut and YG01, YG25 & YG17 and R81, R83, & R85 for the frostings.

I die cut the ‘latte’ word from Stampin’ Up!’ Early Espresso 8-1/2 x 11″ Cardstock using the Honey Bee Stamps Honeycut Latte Dies 3x and the shadow from Vellum. I stamped the rest of the sentiment from the Honey Bee Stamps LATTE Stamp Set with Over Coffee ink.

I finished off the card by adding white highlights with a Uni-Ball Signo Broad Point White Gel Pen and shimmer to the ice cubes, beans, and ‘latte’ word with Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay Sparkle Pen.

On the inside of the card, I cut a piece of pattern paper from Stampin’ Up!’s Coffee Break 12 x 12 Pattern Paper (retired) to 1 x 8-1/2″ and stamped a sentiment from Honey Bee Stamps Shake It Off Stamps with Stampin’ Up!’s Early Espresso Ink and added some beans and a donut.
